WHOLE SCHOOL CAREERS
As well as designated Careers lessons, our young people will gain subject specific careers lessons during the course of the academic year. Subject leads will facilitate employer encounters and visits as well as giving our pupils up to date market information.
ENCOUNTERS WITH EMPLOYERS
At Archers Brook School we learn today to be successful tomorrow. We aim to prepare our pupils with the skills and qualities that will benefit them in their careers and in their communities. We understand the importance of building relationships with employers and the ability they have in shaping the futures of our young people. We really cherish these links and we want to strengthen these even further.

- Attend our Careers Week activities.
- Engaging with specific Careers projects.
- Talking to small groups of students.
- Offering an off-timetable activity or trip to your workplace
- Providing a work experience placement for our Year 10 cohort.
- Supporting a subject area with specialist knowledge.

The aim of the school is to provide our pupils with many encounters with employers. These encounters will help our pupils to learn about specific career opportunities and the various routes needed to undertake these roles. We are a proud member of the Young Chamber of Commerce and have developed relationships with employers in the region. This developing relationship with the Young Chamber provides opportunities for our young people to develop knowledge and understanding of work and enterprise, to develop employability skills and to learn through direct experiences of work and enterprise.
