Key Stage 4 Knife Crime Information Session

This week our Key Stage 4 pupils attended a “Knife Crime” assembly presented by PC Bailiff and PCSO Johnson from Cheshire Police.

The purpose of the information session was to educate our pupils about the implications of knife crime, the law surrounding the carrying and use of knives, as well as the effect knife crime has on the community. A discussion also took place which allowed our pupils to gain an understanding of the impact knife crime can have on the lives of victims as well as those who may carry a knife or similar weapons.

Pupils were also reminded about how to safely report anything that makes them feel worried or uncomfortable, as well as what support is available should they ever need it.

The feedback from the pupils has been positive and we appreciate the input and support from Cheshire Police.
